Description: Michel Chapoutier is a world famous producer from the Rhone. Famous for his red wines from Hermitage in the northern Rhone, he also produces a number of sweet wines of outstanding quality.
This is an unusual and rare sweet red wine from Rivesaltes in the southern Rhone. This wine is made from Grenache grapes and has a pleasant red garnet and is made in a port style but much lighter in alcohol and therefore easier to drink.
Bursting with red fruit flavours, the wine is ready to
drink but will keep. n historic estate dating back to 1772 and now under the same ownership at Château Suduiraut in Sauternes. Tokaji is one of the oldest appellations to produce sweet wine, which was favoured by the Russian Czars
