Domaine des Baumard is regarded as one of the best sweet wine producers in this famous sweet wine producing region of the Loire.
The wine is a pale golden colour offering peaches and butterscotch on the nose with lychees on the palate and a long lingering finish. The 2002 Quarts de Chaumes is sweet without being cloying because it is beautifully balanced with plenty of acidity.
This wine is beautiful now but will last for decades.
