Description:
This is a family owned winery located in the Barossa Valley where bush turkeys once roamed.
Inspired by the rare and luscious vin de paille from France’s Rhone valley, this is the 3rd release of this wine made from 100% Marsanne grapes. The bunches are spread out on old apricot drying trays for up to 6 weeks before gentle crushing and basket pressing.
Straw yellow in colour with cumquat, saffron and crushed brazil nuts on the nose. Complex and initially sweet, the wine offers mouth-filling flavours of preserved lemon, peaches and oatmeal balanced with delicate acidity.
